Hi I'm Mel and this is my story....

I began to make these beautiful keepsakes back in 2017 after losing my best friend Bailey. I was searching for something to remember him by and couldn't find anything other than memory bears, which, as lovely as they were,  didn't seem very fitting for him.   So I set about making my own and created my first memory pony keepsake using his favourite travel rug.

I went on to make them for friends as special gifts, word then got out and I began making them for people far and wide.  I set up my small craft business and named it after Bailey so his memory would live on in all of our hearts.

Over the years I have made memory ponies and cushions that have gone all over the UK and as far as Germany and Australia! using cherished rugs, rosettes,  saddlecloths, Tweed jackets (from HOYS), travel boots and even jodhpurs.

In 2019, I began to widen my range to re-create memory ponies in your horse or ponies own colours and in different fabrics, from tweeds to velvet and faux fur. 

In 2023, I will be teaming up with my husband, who is a talented portrait artist to work on some exciting new keepsakes.

I live in a lovely quiet rural village in County Durham, with my husband and our 3 dogs and 2 highland ponies.
